How to upload pictures to a Samsung Frame TV
You do not need an Art Store subscription to show your own photos. The Frame can import them through the SmartThings app or from a USB drive.
Upload photos with SmartThings
- Open SmartThings and select your Frame TV from the Devices tab.
- Open Art Mode and choose Add Your Photos.
- Select the images from your phone, then choose Save on The Frame.
- Select a saved image to display it, or use the available slideshow options.
Upload photos from a USB drive
- Connect a USB drive containing your photos to the One Connect Box.
- Put The Frame into Art Mode and open My Collection.
- Select the USB drive, then select Save.
- Choose the images and select Save Selected to import them.

Show local photos with PictaCast
If you prefer a local slideshow from a computer instead of importing photos to The Frame, connect a Chromecast to an HDMI port.
Plug in a Chromecast dongle
Connect a Chromecast or Chromecast with Google TV to one of The Frame's HDMI ports. Switch to that input.
